Eligibility to Use the Service
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract in Canada to use CyberHubEdu paid services. Organizations enrolling employees should ensure they have the authority to submit personal data for training. Example scenario: an HR manager enrolling staff must confirm internal consent and lawful basis for processing employee contact and performance data.
Users must be at least 16 years old to create an independent learner account. For minors between 13 and 16, organizational accounts may enroll the minor with appropriate parental or guardian approval as required by law. Example: a school IT administrator enrolling students must maintain parental consent records.
Services must be used in a lawful manner consistent with local and federal laws. Prohibited uses include attempting to reverse-engineer training assessments, misrepresenting completion records, or using platform resources to plan malicious activity. Scenario: a user who attempts to bypass a simulated phishing exercise will be subject to account review and corrective training.
Access to some features may be restricted in certain jurisdictions due to export controls, sanctions, or regulatory constraints. Organizations outside Canada should review applicable restrictions before purchasing services. Example: advanced incident simulation modules may be disabled in locations with export limitations.
Account Responsibilities
Creating an account enables access to free and paid courses, scenario libraries, and reporting dashboards. Accounts are for individual use unless part of an organizational subscription. Example scenarios include: an employee completing role-based modules, and an administrator downloading compliance reports.
Users must provide accurate and current information when registering. If information changes, update your profile promptly. Example: updating job title and department improves the relevance of role-based scenarios presented to the learner.
Protect your account credentials and use multi-factor authentication when offered. Notify CyberHubEdu immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. In incident scenarios we log access events and may require credential resets or additional verification steps to restore access.
Accounts are personal and may not be transferred without written consent from CyberHubEdu. Organizational subscriptions follow an administrative role model for reassignment of seats and permissions as documented in subscription workflows.
If you believe your account is compromised, contact support and provide incident details such as the last known good login time and any suspicious activity. CyberHubEdu will respond using scenario-based remediation steps such as password reset, session invalidation and optional forensic logging for enterprise accounts.
Accounts may be suspended for violations of these terms, suspected fraud, or security incidents. In a suspension scenario we notify the account owner and outline required actions to restore access, such as identity verification or removal of violating content.
Service Scope
CyberHubEdu provides cyber awareness training, simulations, scenario libraries and reporting tools. Course content includes practical case studies and interactive scenarios designed to improve security decision-making. Service descriptions for each offering are available on the product page and in the subscription agreement.
We may add, modify, or discontinue features. When changes affect ongoing obligations or paid features, CyberHubEdu will notify customers in advance and offer transition options using real-world migration scenarios to minimize disruption.
We strive for reliable access but service availability can be impacted by maintenance, third-party outages, or force majeure events. We publish planned maintenance windows and provide status updates for major incidents. Example: if a simulation engine requires urgent patching, we communicate an expected downtime and mitigation steps.
User Rules and Acceptable Use
Users must follow the platform rules to maintain a safe and productive learning environment. The rules are explained through case examples to illustrate prohibited behaviors and preferred alternatives.
- Do not upload malware, executables, or malicious scripts as part of training content; use sanitized, sandboxed examples instead.
- Do not impersonate other users or administrators; training scenarios support role-based exercises but must not involve identity deception outside the exercise context.
- Do not attempt to bypass assessments or tamper with completion records; report issues to support and complete remediation modules where applicable.
- Respect confidentiality of third-party case materials and avoid sharing restricted documents outside authorized channels.
- Use platform resources lawfully; do not use the site for planning or executing illicit activities under the guise of training.
- Comply with export control and data residency rules for content and user data; consult your account administrator for organization-specific restrictions.
- Report vulnerabilities or abusive behavior through our designated channels; responsible disclosure scenarios are documented to guide safe reporting.
User Content
Users may submit content such as forum posts, comments, or scenario templates. User content that contributes to community learning is encouraged but subject to review and removal for rule violations.
You retain ownership of original user content you submit. By posting content you represent that you have the rights to do so and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
By submitting content you grant CyberHubEdu a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt and display the content to operate and promote the service, including in anonymized case studies and scenario libraries.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy and appropriateness of your content. Example: if uploading a simulated phishing template, ensure links and payloads are inert and safe for distribution.
CyberHubEdu may remove or disable content that violates these terms or applicable law. For removal requests provide the reason and supporting information; removal decisions will follow documented review scenarios.
Intellectual Property
All platform code, course materials, branding and proprietary scenario designs are the intellectual property of CyberHubEdu or its licensors. Use is limited to the rights expressly granted under subscription or license agreements.
- Do not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works of CyberHubEdu materials outside the scope of permitted educational use.
- Do not remove or alter proprietary notices or watermarks from training materials shared within the platform.
- Requests for licensing content for external publication should be directed to our legal team with sample use cases and audience information.
Paid Services and Subscriptions
Paid services include subscription access to premium courses, incident simulation modules, administrative reporting, and customization services. Pricing and features vary by plan and are described on product pages and order forms.
Prices are listed in Canadian dollars for customers in Canada. Scenario-based pricing examples (for instance: per-seat pricing for 100 employees plus an enterprise reporting add-on) are provided in quotes and invoices.
Payment methods accepted include major credit cards and invoicing for approved organizational accounts. Payments are due as described in the order. Late payments may result in account access restrictions per the non-payment procedures.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless canceled. Renewal notices include details of upcoming charges and instructions for managing subscription seats or downgrading plans using practical transition scenarios.
Refunds are handled case-by-case. For example, if a purchased module is materially unavailable for an extended period, we provide a pro-rated credit or alternative access based on the incident scenario and the affected scope of service.
Customers may cancel subscriptions through the account portal or by contacting support. Cancellation scenarios include immediate termination for cause or scheduled end-of-term cancellation for convenience; licensed content access after cancellation is handled per the subscription terms.
Applicable taxes are added to invoices as required by law. Customers are responsible for local taxes unless a valid exemption applies and is documented prior to invoicing.
We may adjust pricing for new subscriptions; existing customers receive advance notice and options to renew under current rates or transition to updated plans using a documented migration scenario.
Non-payment may lead to suspension of services after notice. Enterprise clients have a grace period and escalation workflow that documents reminders, account holds and potential termination steps.

Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CyberHubEdu is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. In case studies we illustrate realistic outcomes but do not promise specific security improvements or measurable risk reductions.
Third-Party Content and Links
We integrate third-party tools and content providers for payment processing, analytics and specialty modules. Use of third-party services is subject to their terms; we map integration scenarios to show data flows and responsibilities.
Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or where continued access poses a security risk. Termination is accompanied by a closure scenario that explains data export, retention and account wind-down steps.
Upon termination, access to paid materials ceases and accounts may be deleted after any applicable retention period. Enterprise customers receive a transition package that includes export of training records and suggested remediation steps.

Our privacy practices are described in the CyberHubEdu Privacy Policy. We process personal data to deliver training services, manage subscriptions, and improve content using anonymized analytics and scenario-based feedback.
Communications
We communicate via email, platform notifications, and for urgent account matters by phone. Communication examples: enrollment confirmations, security alerts, scheduled maintenance notices and case follow-ups.
Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms. Material changes affecting your rights will be communicated in advance with an explanation and options where applicable. Change scenarios include feature deprecation or re-pricing of subscription tiers.
Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Dispute scenarios will follow the processes outlined in the Dispute Resolution section below.
Dispute Resolution
For disputes we encourage escalation through customer support for an attempted resolution using documented case workflows. If unresolved, parties may pursue mediation or court proceedings in Ontario as allowed by law.
